NBC’s The Voice is taking advantage of Keith Urban‘s years as both a performer and a coach on the Australian version of the hit competition show –by tapping him as this season’s Mega Mentor.

According to Variety, beginning with the April 8th episode, Keith will consult with coaches Dan and Shay, Chance the Rapper, John Legend and Reba McEntire and the remaining members of their teams to prepare them for the knockouts — the final round before the show goes live.

Keith served as a judge on The Voice Australia in 2011, 2020 and 2022. He was also a judge on American Idol for seasons 12 through 15.
