Carly Pearce won the 2023 Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” with Ashley McBryde, and ever since, she’s been contemplating how to top that.  She knew her 2021 studio album, “29: Written in Stone,” would change her life and career. Now, however, that chapter has closed after three years. Now, she’s written a song (We Don’t Fight Anymore) with her favourite artist, Chris Stapleton, and a year later, she’s nominated for another Grammy in the same category.  “I feel so removed from that season in my life that I’m really excited to be able to share with fans a new chapter,” she said. “I did not know how I was going to be able to make ’29,’ not the greatest album I’ve ever made. I really feel like I’ve done that. I think I’ve topped it and made just a more mature album, more country, and more myself than that one. So, I’m excited.”
