Today’s data release from Southwestern Public Health shows the total number of active cases in the area covered by Oxford and Elgin counties continues to decline in some areas. It’s a slow decline, but at least it’s heading the right direction. The total number has dropped from 60 to 58 since yesterday.

In Elgin County, their total has dropped slightly from 52 to 50. Aylmer has seen 1 case resolved, putting their total at 31, while Bayham has seen a drop from 17 to 14. However, St. Thomas has added 2 new cases to their total, now up to 5, almost wiping away the decline in Elgin County.

Meanwhile, there has been no change in Oxford County in the past 24 hours. The county total remains at 8, with all 8 cases in Tillsonburg.
