There’s been little change in the status of the Covid-19 virus since Friday. Today’s data release from Southwestern Public Health shows no change in Oxford County which still has 17 active cases. To break it down, Blandford-Blenheim and Woodstock still have 4 cases each, while East Zorra-Tavistock, Tillsonburg, Zorra and Norwich have 2 cases each, and South West Oxford has 1.

In Elgin/St. Thomas, their total of active cases has dropped by 1 for a total of 12 cases, half of them in St. Thomas. Elsewhere, Dutton-Dunwich has 3 cases, with Aylmer, Bayham and Malahide reporting 1 active case each. West Elgin is no longer reporting an active coronavirus case.

Southwestern Public Health covers the counties of Oxford and Elgin as well as the city of St. Thomas.

In Tillsonburg, the Downtown BIA has a new loan program for members of the BIA zone. It’s a last-resort for BIA members who’ve exhausted all other means of financial support and is intended to help with monthly rent payments.
