With today’s data release by Southwestern Public Health, Blandford-Blenheim now has the distinction of having the most Covid-19 active cases in Oxford County. A new case has been reported there bring the total in Blandford-Blenheim to 3 and raising the total cases in the county to 11. East Zorra-Tavistock, Tillsonburg and Woodstock still have 2 active cases each, while Norwich and Zorra each have 1 case.

In Elgin County and the city of St. Thomas, the number of active cases has dropped by 1. St. Thomas still has 7 cases, while Dutton/Dunwich has gone down from 4 cases to 3. West Elgin still has 2 cases, as Central Elgin has gone down from 2 active cases to 1. Southwold is reporting a new case bringing their total to 1. Also with 1 case each are Aylmer, Bayham and Malahide.

While the figures don’t show dramatic changes since Monday, they do seem to indicate the coronavirus remains active and fluid.
