The Woodstock Police Association (WPA) in conjunction with the Police Association of Ontario (PAO) has provided a donation of $3000.00 to the Woodstock Salvation Army foodbank.

“Members of the Woodstock Police Service come into contact daily with citizens of the community who are struggling for various reasons. Given the current circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, it has created a higher than normal demand for the foodbank. The WPA membership and PAO saw an opportunity to assist the Salvation Army and we know that this donation will go a long way to helping many individuals and families within our communities” said Mike Routly, President of the WPA.

The WPA is comprised of approximately 120 uniform and civilian members from the rank and file within the Police Service. The PAO is the official provincial representative body and advocacy for over 47 Police Associations in Ontario providing resources and support.
