On Saturday, March 21, 2020, Norfolk OPP investigated a theft from a Wilson Avenue, Delhi, Norfolk County address.

In the early morning hours, unknowns attended the address and removed a tailgate from a pickup truck along with a generator that was located in the bed of the truck.

OPP say the simplest way to prevent tailgate theft is for drivers to park in locked garages or to back the truck up against a building wall to limit access. There also are numerous anti-theft tailgate locking devices available, both manual and electronic.

The OPP want to remind all community residents that if they observe any suspicious activity to please contact the police.
