London Police have named a replacement for outgoing Deputy Chief Daryl Longworth.
20 year Veteran Inspector and London native Trish McIntyre has been named Acting Deputy Chief.
McIntyer began her career as a cadet with London Police and have worked her way through the ranks holding supervisory positions in a number of different branches of the service. She is also a Western and Rotman School of Management grad.
Daryl Longworth is leaving London Police to become Chief of Woodstock Police. McIntyre will take over the job in September when Longworth vacates, becoming the first woman to hold the position.
