Members of the OPP, Oxford detachment were busy this week relating to traffic complaints of vehicles speeding in the village of Brownsville.

OPP say over the course of two days, a total of six Provincial Offence Notices were issued and three drivers were caught speeding at almost double the posted speed limit of 50km/hr.

Police say irresponsible driving behaviour will not be tolerated and has no place on the roadway. Drivers who choose to operate a motor vehicle at an excessive speed pose a serious risk to public safety.
