The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Oxford Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for an arson in the Town of Ingersoll, Ont.

The Ontario Provincial Police Oxford Detachment responded to a report of a residential fire at a Bell Street, Ingersoll address.

The fire occurred sometime during the evening hours on April 2, 2019.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and it has been deemed suspicious.

Police are hoping that anyone that may have seen anyone suspicious in the area during that time frame to call police to report it.
The investigation is continuing.
