A woman from the Oneida of the Thames First Nation has been charged in connection to a crash on Boxing Day that killed a 27 year old woman.

Channon George, also from Oneida of the Thames First Nation died when the vehicle she was in struck a bridge barrier on Southminister Bourne in Middlesex Centre on the morning of December 26th.

The 22 year old woman has been charged with impaired driving causing death, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol, and impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death. She was arrested without incident Thursday.
