One year ago today, CARAS, the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, announced London, Ont., would host the 2019 Juno Awards.

Today, they announced the final list of nominees for those awards. Congratulations to the nominees in the Country Album of the Year category: Tim Hicks for “New Tattoo,” Brett Kissel for “We Were That Song,” Jess Moskaluke for “A Small Town Christmas,” Meghan Patrick for “Country Music Made Me Do It,” and The Reklaws for “Feels Like That.”

The awards will be televised on CBC on March 17 (St. Patrick’s Day, BTW), with some awards presented the night before.

And congrats to Meghan Patrick for the nomination in the Breakthrough Artist of the Year category, Washboard Union for Breakthrough Group, and Donovan Woods for Contemporary Roots Album and Songwriter of the Year!
