Four youths have been charged with armed robbery and possession of porperty obtained by crime over $5000 after the Pioneer gas station in Tillsonburg was robbed at knife point early yesterday morning.

Around 3:50am, a male entered the store with a knife, demanded cash and fled in a waiting vehicle.

The OPP spotted the vehicle on Highway 19 and attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle continued on its way. It was eventually stopped with the help of a spike belt.

The vehilce was found to have been stolen in London which is under a seperate investigation.

Two males, aged 15 and 17 and two females, aged 16 and 17, all from London are being held pending a bail hearing.

Police say further charges are pending.
