Michael Badaway

michael badawayFrom one line in a CBC radio play; to CFRB's Talk Radio Idol; to hosting a syndicated radio program in 14 communities across Ontario; Michael Badaway is proud to join the team at Easy 101 and Country 107.3. From his humble beginnings in East York Michael originally wanted to be an Astronaut. As that wasn't working out, at the age of 14 Michael decided to Audition for Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts. Nine drama credits, and a lot of improvisation training and embarrassment later Michael finished the program with a definite flair for presentation.

In 2008 Michael began his commercial radio career as a Reporter. He rose through the ranks quickly, becoming the Afternoon Desk Editor, Afternoon Anchor, Afternoon Drive Host, Music Director; eventually going on to host a syndicated Radio Show in 14 communities across Ontario. Michael has become an integral part of the local community. From taking part in the ALS ice bucket challenge, to Zip lining for the very first time for a 24 hour fundraiser, Michael is ready and willing to go the distance. Michael sits on the board of directors of The United Way, Stix & Pix, and has completed the Ontario Provincial Police Citizens Police Academy. Michael has accepted many challenges; including hosting the Terry Fox run, the MS Walk, Bushstock, Dover Roots music festival, South Coast Jazz, Waterford's Pumpkin Fest and many more.

Michael is also the voice of Crime Stoppers of Haldimand, Norfolk and Tillsonburg. He has won several local and International awards, including Best Crime of the Week feature for 2015.
