Another NHL season...

I must say I am getting used to this. Another NHL season that once held a lot of promise for my Toronto Maple Leafs, and now with just a few games to go in the regular season, nothing short of a miracle could get the mighty Blue and White into the post season. The coaching change a few days ago has had little effect, as I thought it would. Again I ask, Why did we get rid of Pat Quinn?

In a few weeks we will be into the NHL "second season" and I am stuck as to who to cheer for, can you offer any suggestions?

Hi there.  I am on a week's holiday, just checkin' to say HI.

What have I been up to?  Glad you asked.

Among other things, Monday and Tuesday I did the Carrol Trail in Tillsonburg from Coronation park.  Sometimes I do that upper loop 3 times and yes I go UP that killer hill.

Today, Wednesday, I am doing some hiking and geocaching in the Delhi area.

Thursday I am heading up to a friend's in Kitchener.

Friday I am hanging out with one of my daughters, we are doing the Playdium in Mississauga.

Saturday I am going to a birthday party, then off to Waterford for Chinese food and then after ward visiting my best buddy Dave and his wife.

Sunday, Coronation St., marathon with a very dear friend.

Monday, looking forward to coming back to work.  (Obligated under contract to say that)

HEY!  Have fun.

See ya.

Valentines day is creeping up, let's not be shocked, it is the same time every year.  This blog is targeted more for the guys then woman, they NEVER forget about Valentines day.

Time to prepare, plot and give it some thought.  No last minute gifts are allowed or welcomed.

Here's some of my do's and don'ts for the gentlemen for a successful day.

Don't - Buy flowers from the gas station.
Do - Pick up a bouquet from your local florist.

Don't - Send an ecard from the internet.
Do - Take some time and pick out a romantic card that conveys your feelings.

Don't - Give her a book on weight lose.
Do - Instead a brochure about romantic get aways.

Don't - Pick up a candy bar from the corner store.
Do - Get her a box of high quality chocolates.

Don't - Have dinner in front of the TV.
Do - Cook her favourite meal.

Don't - Pick up fast food.
Do - There are plenty of nice restaurants to go to.

Don't - Say, "You know how I feel about you"
Do - Tell her.

Don't -Think that it is a made up holiday.
Do - Know that it's an important day to her.

Don't - Forget about it.
Do - Everything you can for her, this day and everyday.

Just a few of my thoughts, I hope this helps.
If you can add to this, send me an email.

I just saw a curious guy in the grocery store here in Tillsonburg.  He was wearing a bright neon orange toque with a complimentary orange hunting jacket.  But he was also wearing camouflage pants.  So I can't figure out if he really wanted to be seen or not.
