A computer engineering professor says about nine-thousand Canadian

computers could be infected and lose Internet service on Monday when

the F-B-I shuts down temporary servers.

Thomas Dean of Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario says that

overall, some 300-thousand computers -- most of them in the U-S, Italy

and India -- could be infected and lose service.

Dean says Canadians can go to a website (www.dcwg.org) to check if

their computers are infected and take appropriate measures.

Police say a roving gang crashed a small gathering in a Massachusetts town and bullied the guests for their beer.

Boxford police Lt. James Riter says he was responding to a call about the gang the other day and spotted them in a front yard.

Riter says the group headed for the backyard and then he heard screaming. He says when he ran to the backyard where he saw that the unwanted gang had chased off some young adults and began drinking their beer.

Lt. Riter says they then knocked the beer cans over on a table and were seen drinking up what had spilled. He says they even started rooting around the recycled cans for some extra drops.

Lt. Riter says this gang, or perhaps herd would be a better word to use, this herd of cows was rounded up by their owner and some friends and sent back home.

Maybe to sleep it off.

The rising trend of tattoos has collided with the painful reality of a tight job market.

Plastic surgeons in the U.S. are reporting a spike in laser tattoo removal.

The leading resaon for undergoing the painful removal process is employment, with 40 per cent of people saying they were getting rid of their tats to either get a job or advance their careers.

Others said they were getting rid of them because they contained the name of an ex, or something they no longer believed in.

That's got me thinking I should get rid of my unicorn tat, but keep the dolphin.

Is sugar rotting your brain?

A new study by researchers at U-C-L-A suggests what you eat affects how you think, and certain sugars may slow down your brain.

They focused on corn syrup six times sweeter than cane sugar -- the kind often used in soft drinks, apple sauce, baby food and a host of other sweet treats.

The study found lab rats fed high fructose diets for just six weeks had trouble learning and remembering things.

So I was thinking, what does a rat have to remember anyway?
