Maria Sharapova is finding her groove at the U-S Open.  She beat American teen Sofia Kenin to advance to the fourth round of her first Grand Slam since a 15-month doping suspension.  And American Sam Querrey is through to the round of 16.  He beat Radu Albot of Moldova in four sets.
Brooke Henderson is on pace for a third straight win at the L-P-G-A's Portland Classic.  The 19-year-old from Smiths Falls, Ontario shot a 5 under 67 for a share of first place with American Stacy Lewis and South Korea's In Gee Chun after two rounds.  Henderson is trying to become the first golfer to win three consecutive championships at Portland.
Dustin Johnson is starting to look as dangerous as ever.  One week after Johnson ended a five-month dry spell brought on by a back injury, he easily handled the early cold and a steady wind at T-P-C Boston for a 5-under 66 and a one-shot lead in the opening round of the Dell Technologies Championship.
