The numbers are a little startling, considering the high profile of the subject matter.

Only 38 of 89 female MP's participated in a recent survey regarding their experience with sexual misconduct, even though the survey was voluntary and anonymous.

Elgin-Middlesex-London conservative MP Karen Vecchio was one who did not participate. She says in her experience, she has never allowed a man nor harassment to stand in her way. But, she adds, changing attitudes towards woman has to start at home, with parents teaching their boys to be respectful. She says it can't be up to people like Justin Trudeau or Andrew Sheer to lead the way, it has to be parents.
