The Long Point Conservation Authority has issued a Water Safety Statement amid the recent warming trend.

The warm temperatures with rain yesterday and overnight has melted most of the snow which has raisded the water levels across the watershed.

This could lead to some localized flooding in the usually prone areas and the levels are expected to be high for a few days.

You are urged to use caution around all waterways.

The Water Safety Statement is expected to be in effect until 5 tonight.
