With the support of the Southwestern Ontario Economic Development Fund, the government is investing nearly $2.4 million in four Tillsonburg companies which will

create 198 new positions.

Metal stamping and assembly company Marwood Metal will expand its production capacity with new equipment thanks to $1.5 million from the fund.  The company plans to invest $16 million of its own in the expansion which is expected to be completed by August of 2019 and add an additional 55 jobs while retaining 343 existing positions.

Inovata foods will receive just over $387 thousand to be added to the companies $3.9 million investment.  70 new jobs will be created at its Spruce Street manufacturing plant while 161 current employees will maintain their jobs.

Voth Sales and Service will add over $485 thousand from the Development Fund to its investment of $5.1 million to create 23 new jobs at its facility on Norfolk County Road 30.  38 current jobs will be retained.
