OMA-province resuming contract talks

The provincial government and the group that represents doctors will soon begin negotiations.
The doctors haven't had a physicians services agreement for three years.
The Ontario Medical Association said doctors wouldn't return to the bargaining table unless the Wynne Liberals introduced binding arbitration, but the province refused to accept it as a pre-condition to resuming talks.
However the O-M-A is seeking binding interest arbitration so that an independent adjudicator can resolve any outstanding issues.
