The death toll from Friday's hockey bus crash near Tisdale, Saskatchewan has risen to 16.

The athletic therapist for the Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team, 24-year-old Dayna Brons, died of her injuries Wednesday afternoon in a Saskatoon hospital.

Her family says she was very proud to be part of the Broncos team and will be remembered for her smile and love of sports.

Today, the first of 16 funerals will be held with a memorial ceremony for 29-year-old Tyler Bieber at the Broncos' home arena.

Bieber was a radio broadcaster in his first year as a play-by-play announcer for the Humboldt Broncos.

He also coached high-school football and basketball.

Financial support is still pouring in online for the families of the 16 dead and the 13 injured survivors of Friday's horrific bus crash in rural Saskatchewan.

A “GoFundMe” campaign has now surpassed 9.2-million dollars -- a Canadian record and among the five most successful campaigns ever on the crowdfunding platform -- thanks to more than 110-thousand donors in 65 countries.

A GoFundMe official says distribution of the funds will take some time, possibly several months.

But Rachel Hollis adds there are safeguards in place to ensure the money goes to the right place.
