The man convicted of killing and dismembering Clifford Fair in 2008, will have a new trial.

Former Woodstock resident John Robinson was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for 25 years in the slaying, but the Ontario Court of Appeals has found issues with the jury instruction that will require a new trial.  Documents released yesterday also found the conviction to be “unreasonable”.

There is no word yet when a new trial will begin.
