Officials from the Grand River Conservation Authority along with Woolwich Township will be holding a meeting on July 24th to discuss future improvements for the flooding the struck the area on June 23rd.

The meeting will be held in West Montrose as it was significantly affected by the flooding and many residents voiced their concerns over limited notifications and warnings.

The GRCA will start the meeting off with a presentation about how the June flood unfolded along with data collected. The meeting will also look at technology to better inform residents in good time.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the West Montrose United Church from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
