Cambridge man attempted to disarm police officer

A bar night went wrong for a 20 year old male last night in Guelph.

According to police, the male tried to take a conducted weapon from the police officer putting him under arrest after he had been causing problems at a Carden Street bar around 1 a.m.

The Cambridge man is now facing charges of assault with intent to resist arrest, disarming a police officer and public intoxication.
