March 29th is the date that students will be suspended if they do not hand in their up-to-date immunization records.

This morning, public health states that nearly three thousand students in the Waterloo Region could be facing suspension if their parents do not hand in the proper documentation. The records are used to ensure that if a vaccine-preventable disease outbreak occurs, their is accessible information to know if a student is immunized or not.

Parents can get their child's immunization records from their family physician or other health care provider.
