A Woodstock bank robber is at large.
Last (Thursday) night about 6, a lone male entered the CIBC on Norwich Avenue and approached three tellers, demanding money.
He started swearing at the tellers, ordering them to place the money in a duffle bag that he had provided.
The suspect, whose face was covered by a balaclava, warned that he had a gun but no weapon was ever seen.
The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a northwest direction.
Police and the canine unit combed the area but found no sign of the bandit.
The suspect is white, 5-feet-7 to 6-feet-tall, 160-190 pounds, between 25 to 30 years of age with slight facial hair visible underneath the balaclava.
He spoke with a deep voice and has an authoritative walk and was wearing dark clothes.
