A provincial police officer has been charged with careless driving following a two-vehicle crash last week in Cambridge.

Police say no one was injured when a Ford Taurus fully marked O-P-P police vehicle collided with a Range Rover S-U-V on Highway 4-0-1.

Constable Gillian Coughlin -- a 16-year veteran of the O-P-P currently assigned to the South Porcupine Detachment -- was charged under the Highway Act following an investigation. (The Canadian Press)
