An early morning crash in London underlining the police message about drinking and driving as we head into the long weekend.
A 29-year-old man was charged after a two-vehicle collision on Highbury Avenue. Police say no one was seriously injured.
London police will be conducting RIDE spotchecks this weekend. Traffic Sgt. Tom O'Brien is urging people not to drink and drive. He's also reminding drivers under the age of 22 that as of this Sunday morning they will have to refrain from having any level of alcohol in their system.  Offenders charged under the new law will receive a 24 hour licence suspension and a $110 ticket.
