Woodstock police are investigating after an observant citizen called them Sunday afternoon to report they had discovered a debit card skimming device attached to an A-T-M at the Toronto Dominion Bank branch located at 539 Dundas Street.
Police attended and recovered a card skimming device along with a pin hole camera and memory card designed to capture card pin numbers.
It is not known if any customer’s cards were compromised.
Anyone who may have used the A-T-M’s at the affected branch should check their bank accounts to ensure it has not been compromised.
If it has, call police.
