A hospital in Southampton has reopened to new patients following a viral outbreak.

The discovery of a gastrointestinal illness led to the closure of the inpatient unit of Southampton hospital last weekend.

Grey Bruce Health Services says the hospital was cleared of the outbreak yesterday.
