A Woodstock woman was led away in handcuffs after being convicted of an alcohol-fuelled crash that killed an infant.

48-year-old Bonita Purtill now faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Purtill was found guilty by a jury yesterday (Friday) on all six charges in the death of 4-month-old Alexander Fleming nearly four years ago

Purtill's pickup truck broadsided a car at the intersection of Huron and Devonshire Thanksgiving weekend, 2008.

The car was driven by Fleming's mother, Mary Rodrigues.

Her three children and husband were passengers.

Purtill will be back in court September 7th for sentencing.
