There were three serious motorycle accidents in the area on the weekend, including two at the same intersection in east London.
Saturday night a 32-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle at Highbury and Brydges. The man's name has not yet been released, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
Then, around 10:00 p.m. Sunday, there was another crash at Highbury and Brydges, and a motorcyle rider reportedly suffered "significant injuries".
And.... there was another bad crash involving a motorcycle, near St.thomas yesterday. It happened around 2:30 Sunday afternoon at Dalewood Road and Ron McNeil line in Central Elgin. Police say a man and his female passenger were both thrown from the bike, landing in a ditch, after running a stop sign and colliding with a car.
The 48-year-old man from St. Thomas suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries - but his 44-year-old passenger was airlifted to hospital in London in critical condition. Her name has not been released.
