Provincial police say 372 charges were laid during an campaign that targeted aggressive commercial vehicle drivers and unsafe commercial vehicles.

The 24-hour campaign ran earlier this week.

Charges included a 68 for speeding and 193 for equipment violations.

Some 89 commercial vehicles were taken out of service due to equipment issues or hours of service violations.

Last year, the campaign led to 320 charges, including 86 for speeding.
