The city of London's mandatory ban on outdoor watering was lifted Saturday night. Authorities say the city's reservoirs have been recovering slowly since the ban was issued.

The mandatory outdoor watering ban was put in place early Friday after water usage soared across London, despite requests for everyone to voluntarily conserve as much as possible following Wednesday's pipeline burst in Mount Carmel.

All 13 city of London spray pads, which have been closed since Wednesday, are expected to be open today.

The pipeline was repaired at a cost of at least 250-thousand dollars.
