The Caledonia 8 wants Progressive Conservative leader Tim Hudak to take a stand against what it describes as the mcGuinty government's racist policies in Haldimand county.
Spokesman Gary McHale is asking Hudak to march side-by-side with the group -- at a date of his choosing -- and take a stand against institutionalized racism in the province.
McHale says the principles of rule of law and equality under the law are fundamental principles of grassroots conservative people.
He also wants to take Hudak on an advance tour of Caledonia to show the “terrible economic harm” done to Haldimand county since the aboriginal occupation began there six years ago.
McHale also wants Hudak's input on how to implement the “Caledonia Act” to prevent more Caledonia's in the future.
McHale was arrested during a march to the Douglas Creek Estates last Saturday -- a property given to aboriginals by the province in exchange for ending the occupation.
