By Brian Donlevy,

Woodstock City Council has decided local cab drivers are on their own when it comes to collecting cleaning costs for mishaps inside their taxis.
Council will not enact a bylaw requested by the industry to levy a $120 fine to anyone who throws up, or leaves other bodily fluids during a ride.
City staff said it consulted with Woodstock Police who said it was a civic matter and bylaw enforcement who said laying charges would be difficult because it is unlikely officers would be on duty when the incident occurred.
Cabbies say cleaning costs $120 per incident because the cleaners view whatever the substance as a bio hazard.
