WEEK 13 HUSKY HERO - Glenn Hayter of Zurich

This week’s Husky Hero is Glenn Hayter of Zurich. Glenn is a Board member and treasurer of Habitat for Humanity Huron County. He works tirelessly to do whatever it takes to keep the affiliate operational. He is also the Goderich ReStore liason person, gives office space, equipment and supplies to the affiliate on his own business premises in Clinton. He is working with the Clinton Build Committee to get a house built there in 2012. WEEK 10 HUSKY HERO - Rosemary, Janice, and Kelly.

This week’s Husky Hero nomination is for Three Sisters from Springfield. Rosemary Kennedy, Janice McCallum, and Kelly Pearson. They faithfully work charity bingos to rise funds for their Springfield Lioness club. Many dollars are given out to the community. They support needy families at Christmas, hold Christmas dinner in July for seniors, support their local school, as well as many lioness charities. Without the funds they raise from these bingos their small club could never support all of these things.

Congratulations to Rosemary, Janice, and Kelly on being awarded this week’s Husky Heroes!
