Tillsonburg and area - Suspicious Fire
Crime Stoppers is hoping that your anonymous tip might help to solve an incident after being called to a Fairground Road, Houghton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, January 26, 2017, OPP and Norfolk County Fire and Rescue Services attended an address for a fire.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that firefighters arrived on scene and located a fire inside a home that was currently under construction. The attending firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze however the residence is being considered a total loss.
There were no injuries associated to this occurrence and damage is estimated at approximately $275,000 dollars.
Haldimand County - Motor Vehicle Collision
Crime Stoppers is looking for your anonymous information to help solve a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that occurred at a Lakeshore Road, Selkirk, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Sunday February 5, 2017, OPP responded to Lakeshore Road after a resident reported that their vehicle was struck as well as several mail boxes and a utility control box. The resident reported that the vehicle involved had left the area.
OPP investigation has determined that between Saturday February 4, 2017 at 10:00 p.m. and Sunday February 5, 2017 at 9:00 a.m., the suspect vehicle was travelling west bound on Lakeshore Road and left the roadway striking several mail boxes, a utility control box and a vehicle that was parked in a driveway. The suspect vehicle then travelled across the roadway before colliding with a shed on a neighbouring property.
The suspect vehicle then left the area, last seen travelling east bound on Lakeshore Road.
The suspect vehicle is a silver or grey SUV style vehicle.
Norfolk County - Break and Enter
Crime Stoppers is looking for your anonymous information to help solve a break and enter at a Charlotteville West Quarter Line Road, Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, January 27, 2017, police received a report of a break and enter.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that unknown suspect(s) attended the address in the early morning hours and forcibly gained entry into a barn located on the property. Once inside, unknown suspect(s) removed three (3) chainsaws, two (2) air rachets and a 14 volt cordless drill with charger and carrying case.
The theft is estimated at approximately $2,000 dollars.
